When you break-up with and boyfriend / grilfriend who neglects and abuses you. Watch out because some men / women don't want to give up that fast so make sure that you watch out for yourself!
When he / she breaks-up with you, DO NOT get back into a relationship with them because most people don't change. Trust me I learned that first hand.
Please be careful! I hope that all of you who read my blog will have better luck in relationships then I have.! Go out and have fun! Peace.

Getting out of ackward situations
Here are some guidelines that will help you with safer dating.
1. Limit the information you share. Do not give your home or work address to someone who in not known to you.
2. Double Date. Date with a friend, group of friends, or a couple you know. Safety is in numbers.
3. Let someone know where you are. Leave someone you date "details" - when you are leaving, where you are going, who you are meeting, and when you expect to return.
4. Drive your own car. Having your own transportation allows you control over your situation and is both safe and practical.
5. Date on your turf. Spend your first date somewhere that is familiar to you or where others may know you. If you choose to go to an unfamiliar place, take the TEST: study your surroundings for safety nets such as:
T Telephones - to make a call.
E Exits - to leave the building.
S Security - in case you need help.
T Traffic - as in people traffic, so that you're never alone with your date.
6. Take along your cell phone. If you don't have one, consider investing in a pre-paid cell phone and/or calling card. As an alternative, carry enough change to make at least two calls from a pay phone.
7. Trust your instincts. If your date acts suspiciously or you do not feel comfortable, leave immediately. Your safety and well-being come before politeness in an uncomfortable situation.
